Lorelai Tarlow

I live in the San Francisco Bay Area with my wife and a community of lovely friends and neighbors. I don’t own a car and get around by bike. When I’m not writing—or, more likely, rewriting—I’m swimming at my local outdoor pool (year-round tan, am I right?), cooking something incredibly creative and possibly palatable, or lying on the sofa in the sun reading a romance novel.

Mia’s List of Don’ts

Romantic comedy

Mia Lieberman will do anything to protect her beloved live/work space. Even work as a paralegal under the Terrifying Anna Tine. Even show her art, which she swore to never do again. The one promise she will keep: no more dating. Ever.

So when handsome young lawyer Justin Wu joins her firm to help win a make-or-break case, Mia doesn’t have a crush on him. Anyone who thinks otherwise can bite her. But, just in case, she makes a list of don’ts with the help of her besties, Hazel and Jessie.

The list is full of practical things like Don’t show him your best—make yourself unattractive! Mia always says the wrong thing to Justin. Done. And Don’t forget his flaws—make a list, and don’t be nice! Justin is bossy, nosy, and…annoyingly sexy.

But when Justin and Mia go on a work trip to Lisbon, will her don’ts be enough to keep her from doing something she’ll regret?

I laughed, I cried. Mia’s List of Don’ts is great!

Mia’s List of Don’ts should be picked up by a mainstream publisher. It’s that good.

That was good. Like, REALLY good!
